I use Moorlands Farm ("the Springwatch Farm") for my pork, ham, and mutton, and their service is great.

I only started using them a couple of years ago when I was looking for mutton; I don't get my beef from them because I am very happy with the beef supplier I've had for years and years, waaaaaaaay before I became OS. (in case you're wondering, I get beef from Donald Russell.Superb quality).0 -
mine isnt as much as an angel as yours but I do still have a teatowel from when my son was run over - whole other story lol
I pass him everyday but found he had run out of certain things by the time I'm on my way home - he offered to hold stuff till the evening or even the weekend if I see stuff I like!
Maybe you could still talk to him & let him suggest something.....
ps I like the sound of yours - talk him into mail order himself - I'd be interested
I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0 -
Would definitely ask your butcher if he'll deliver, especially if you've been a regular customer up til now.
Before I moved to an area with a decent butcher, I had all my meat from Well Hung Meat, which I can highly recommend.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
