Some rather harsh responses today - bearing in mind in a forum such as this often responses only come about as a result of other questions being asked!
My original question was perfectly clear - and had I added in all sorts of additional stuff, I could have reasonably been accused of adding in irrelevant info.
Actually - our buyer didn't find better value elsewhere - after 4 months of messing us about, they decided to stay put- had nothing to do with the price of our house! The first one gave us an ultra short date or entry that we simply could not manage to meet, so withdrew their offer. Again, not related to the price of the house either.0
