Switching Loan to Card to keep 0%
Hi there - I have 3 smaller loans with one company (V12 finance) which are due to come to the end of the 0% period. In total with the 3 added together it adds up 5o about £2100.
Can I transfer these onto a credit card to take advantage of 0% interest? Am I right in thinking I can just use a balance transfer card as they usually ask for the card number, and it's the loan company bank details I have as it's not a debt from another card.
Any advice of how to proceed greatly appreciated
Cheers :-)

You need to transfer a balance from another credit card, bank account details won't work.
If you can get a money transfer card, with a sufficient limit, then you can transfer the money into your own bank account and pay off the loans from there.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0 -
No.
You would need a money transfer card, to pay the money into your current account.0 -
Good job I asked - the lady at the loan company said i could balance transfer and it wasn't until I out the phone down and thought it didn't sound quite right. Thanks for helping I'll see if I can get a money transfer card0

Do they accept CC payments, as you could pay with one card and the BT that onto your new 0% card. You would need an existing CC, but often Balance Transf are longer for lower fee than Money Transf options0
