    2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
    Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!
  • I am glad you are enjoying The Salt Path😊 the second book is also good,they go off to Iceland and there is now a third which Im getting for Christmas 😊

    @Debsnewbudget - Glad the snowball cookies turned out well. 
    @Onebrokelady - I'm glad you recommended it (ages ago) as I'm enjoying it & will add the next one to 2023's reading list. I've just read 'The Giver of Stars' by JoJo Moyes which you might like if you haven't already read, as it's about horses & books, as well as strong female characters. Hadn't read anything by this author but this title was recommended by a friend & I really enjoyed it.
