Dearest @foxgloves I hope this outpouring of love from your devoted admirers helps you feel better. Tulips are fab too. May I say that I've taken your example and said to my darling husband that I want to do an overarching household budget. Second marriage for us both; we keep finances separate and tend to pay for different things. He has agreed though as it will help me get back to sleep when I wake with a start in the middle of the night. We have no need to worry, but once you get into the habit, it can be hard to stop. Get well soon love Humdinger xx5

Awww, what lovely comments from you all. Thanks for caring. Yes, today has been much better, thanks. I've felt more like myself.
Hello Diary Readers,
Thought I'd pop a post on before I sign my laptop off & go round closing curtains, etc. Mr F insisted on popping out to the supermarket with the grocery list, thus getting caught in the enormous rain shower that has just gone over. I'm much cosier up here (but haven't turned the heating up) in Foxgloves HQ. So today's money saving wins:
*Free fitness as went for a brisk walk around the village then did an hour of garden clearing.
*Picked a bowl of lettuce & rocket for tonight's salad.
*Baked a sourdough & bread rolls plus shaped a pizza base.
*Picked next week's meals from the 'right up to Christmas' master meal plan I wrote the other week.
*Wrote shopping list.
*Made a dozen extra gift tags from gifted craft stash materials.
*Cracked on with Christmas wrapping. I've used all the recycled giftwrap I salvaged from last year & have now started on the half price stash of rolls I bought in Oxf*m's January sale.
*Did 3 surveys. (Pause for a moan.....you may remember me saying I no longer heard anything at all from 'Rhymes with MooGlove'. Neither have I been able to sign into my account as the one-time only passcode required either never arrives or it does arrive but not within the timeframe required for actually using it. Contacting them has been a waste of time.....first attempt answered by a bot so replied to a different random question which I hadn't asked, 2nd time when I requested to speak to a human was ignored. I've been pondering how to address this as while I don't have sufficient earnings to cash out the required £50, I do have over £40, so I've been feeling absolutely (in the words of my Nan) swizzed. So today, I was so surprised to find an email from them inviting me to do a survey...............& had a few choice words to say (bleep machine defo required) when one of the first questions was 'What would we have to do to get you to participate in more surveys?' So I told them!! I have no idea what the issue has been. I logged out today, tried logging in with the code they duly sent & all was fine. Very odd. I think this has been a problem at their end. I do hope it is now sorted so I can get the last chunk of points earned & cash out my money)
Right, I must go & sort out the topping for my pizza base & make a bit of space for the shopping when the soggy shopper gets home otherwise Soot will be in every bag.
Love to all,
F xx
