I never seem to find any good clothes in charity shops, so have to second hand shop online instead. I do love a second hand bookshop though and the one I went into today was great - I got three really good quality, popular, barely used large kids books (one hardback) for £4. Wouldn’t even get one new for that!

They were a good find, @QueenJess. I don't find many clothes at all in charity shops, but there has been the occasional lucky strike. I think I enjoy the anticipation of the hunt really. It feels a bit like beachcombing.......well without the sea air, fab views, seaside flora & fauna & holiday vibe, of course.

I must get cracking. If I don't have a decent list of achievements for tonight's diary post, you all have my permission to take me to task. Laundry already on, rubber chicken is next.....
