NatWest Mortgage Application Worried Sick

New on here so let me start...
I have poor credit and my wife has good, due to a few mistakes made when I was young and dumb!
Have a brilliant broker who got us an AIP credit scored with NatWest. I had 2 low defaults around 5 and a half years ago which were settled straight away. So I was extremely happy when we managed to pass the credit score levels.
Now its with the underwriters and I am worried sick!! Anyone in the same position or has been?
Worried sick it will now be declined and the embarrassment in calling the estate agent and telling them I cannot obtain a mortgage for the property we have offered on.
Survey on the house is already been booked and funds have been taken. Do you get this money back if it fails or do i say good bye to that now

If you got an AIP then thats a POSITIVE start. Everyone who applies for a mortgage is usually worried about the application. Let the process take its course. And if you want moral support I suggest u join the awaiting for mortgage application thread. They are a friendly bunch in there. I just got my offer through and regularly posted in there. X0
