If you care to go back a few posts you will find that have called people morons (including myself) on several occasions! Don't like it, do you?
You are nothing but a sad attention seeker who has nothing better to do than spill your venom on here because you are a loser and have never been successful enough to buy a property. You are jealous of EVERYONE who has their own property, and people like myself, who have equity of over £600k simply makes you wild with rage: that's usually when you call us all morons!:rotfl:
I don't deny that at present property is static and there is a downturn, but it always rises eventually - which is why YOU would love to get your paws on a property you could call YOURS!
As it happens, I couldn't give a toss which way the property goes - I'm not intending on selling, but if I were to if my proprty goes down in value - then so does everyone else's!!!:p
You come across as a spiteful, vindictive man who is eaten up with jealousy at the fact other people are homeowners while you're just a tenant paying DEAD RENT. And don't fool yourself that people find you funny or amusing - you just irritate and people find you irritating and foolish.
jesus, this is a bit harsh........
any chance you and ytf can step back from playground abuse and get back to topic?
you have a property at present valued at £600k. congratulations. no jealousy from me. only curiosity.
why do you equate holding (but not yet owning) a property of this value with personal success?
even if you were to own the property outright from, say 7yrs ago, I fail to see any personal achievement.
my property has increased in value x4 since 1994.
I'd call that 'fortunate'.
and it's a bit elitist to call ytf 'just a tenant'
(my parents were 'just tenants', so you can see why I'm a bit touchy).

Booing,
If I sold my house tomorrow (and my flat) I would have 600K plus. Probably more - I always err on the side of caution.;)
But I don't intend selling. I have a beautiful home, wonderful views, a massive garden, great big lounge, bedrooms etc..............and in 10 years from now it will probably be worth double.
Why should it bother you or anyone else what other people own? I like the fact I'm answerable to NO-ONE. I don't have a landlord that I have to toe the line to - I would HATE that. I have a sense of achievement in that I own my own home, and most of us DO aspire to being homeowners - that's a fact.
Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.0 -

Are you a goldfish? You were the one starting the debate about people being jealous of your "success".
Oh and a house with "bedrooms etc.." You've hit the big time now.
Plus if your so success and great why are you questioning on other threads that a £750 tumble dryer is too expensive and which cheap brands of LCD TV's are good?Keep the right company because life's a limited business.0 -

Just because I don't agree with YOUR tripe does not mean I can't voice my opinion! Or are you so much up your own a*se that you expect everyone to agree with you?!:dance:0 -

If you're a good boy Billabong I'll give you a saucer of milk!:p
You must be sooooooooo jealous to trawl through all my posts - what a sad life you have in your rented digs!
As for me looking for aq tumble dryer under £1000 - what's wrong in that?! I resented paying so much for one. So what?!
Hope you have a good evening.

Oh, nearly forgot.....my 42" LCD was for my bedroom; I never believe in throwing my money away - that's why I invested wisely and have a lot to show for it!

I wouldn't be quite so sure. I just sold my house and got £80k less for it than I expected. I have now sold to rent expecting further falls.
I have also seen some properties where I live reduced by over £200k and in one case £400k (well that was a £2m house). But seriously agents are now advising people to knock 10% off to just to sell and 20% off to sell quickly.
So I guess you estimated £600k, may actually only be £400k if you tried to realise it as cash.0
