Well... how weird is that? I was definitely the 1000th last time I looked and now am a mere 999th! Thank goodness I conceeded the cake or I'd look even more of a **** than I already feel!
It is weird. I posted and there were 999 posts so I thought I'd be # 1000. Then when I posted it said 1001 and it really wasn't important enough to take issue with. Now I'm back to 1000. Hey ho.
You're very kind to call me a gent. I more often get called other 4 letter words.....0 -
That'll when you're headed for the opera with your cape on G - you probably look a proper Count.
Serves you right for winning the cake (not a Chris Morris one is it..?)0 -

Personally, yes. If demand for houses stays at a depressed level due to an inablility of would-be borrowers to get mortgages then that should push down prices. That may in turn cause a recession due to what is known as the wealth effect.Get away - 18/19th century country and western without the dead dog, and you have to wait about a month for Wagner's fat lady....
I prefer the Italian stuff. Wagner is a wee bit heavy (not to mention long!) for me. I like to be out of the opera in time for a bit of grub.0 -
Fairly new to all of this but very intrested. I am looking for some good advice and a bit of knowledge to help me out please.
I am living at home and will be moving out around June 2008 time. Do I look to rent or buy? How would the market impact my decision? Would I be better off waiting to buy for another year or so?
Great to hear any help, maybe look at worse and best case scenario's?
