Can anyone help I received mortgage offer with the mortgage works on the day of completion mortgage works randomly pick my file for audit can anyone explain what’s going on

It's being checked to make sure everything stacks up. The data which has been input will be checked against the supporting documents and phone calls to employers, etc may be made.I am a mortgage broker. Lenders run this as an internal process to check there staff and systems are doing their job.
It's not about your specific case, its about the overall system.
