Nationwide DIP but purchase price higher

Hi all,
Just a quick question.
Looking to move house.
Applied for a DIP with my current lender (Nationwide) yesterday with my expected figures in order to make a formal offer.
However, the purchase price will now be £5000 higher.
The mortgage amount will remain the same and I'll fund the £5000 from savings.
When I log in to my online banking I can see the DIP etc.
Can i continue to make the application if offer is accepted or do I need to do a new DIP with the new, higher figure?
Many thanks,

You'll need to go in an amend the figures before you can proceed. Assuming you can do what a broker can do...I am a mortgage broker. We had a similar situation although the loan amount went down as I was funding a higher deposit. Immediately prior to the application it reconfirmed details entered at DIP and when I amended slightly it reissued a new DIP as part of the application process. My credit file was only searched once, presumably because they still had the data from the first search and it was only a few days later.0
