Collecting from NRP abroad

Hi,

If the NRP has moved to the US (not sure where), what is the best way of going about getting maintenance payments?

Would it be a lengthy process or "relatively" straightforward?

Hi there!

Have a look here http://www.officialsolicitor.gov.uk/os/remo_role.htm it tells you about the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders (REMO) which is what you can use to try and get maintenence from abroad. I don't know much about it, but am going to soon be trying to get some maintenence from an ex who is in Mexico, so I'm hoping its not too difficult!! Good luck!!
