Won two tickets but only one on collection

Hi,
Any advice please? Won two tickets to a theatre production today, told to collect at the venue. When there, only one ticket was provided. Show was sold out, so the venue could not provide a goodwill gesture of a second ticket, & it wasn't their competition. So we didn't see the show.
I will let the competition providers know what happened, but is there any precedent for wins likes this that go wrong?

It has happened before, you need to see what the people running the competition say/do - they may or may not offer an alternative.
If you are unhappy with the outcome you can complain to the ASA who will tell the company off if they have broken the guidelines and although they cannot force them to provide you with anything sometimes a company will anyway.
