Sorry you may not understand that the Hillsborough Tragedy that happened 16 years ago. Allowed the S*N to print some vicious headlines about Liverpool fans, which from there on since supporters have boycotted the paper. They said things like the fans were nicking the wallets of dead fans and much worse. The S*n have never really said sorry for the things they said. So the boycott will carry on forever.

    COME MOAN YOU REDS
LIVERPOOL must be in the Champions [sic] League next season and everybody in the country (apart from perhaps several thousand Everton fans) agrees with me.

It has nothing to do with their right to defend the trophy or the devaluing of the competition.

Of course it doesn't. That's because:

    1. If they wanted to qualify for 2005/06 they should have won more matches last season. That simple. And...

    2. The competition devalued itself (and the Uefa Cup) the moment the corporate !!!!!s who run European football decided to let in teams other than just the champions and the holders.

However, Rafa Benitez's team absolutely have to be given a place or we'll never hear the end of it and you know what Scousers are like when they think they've got something to moan about.

Which is pretty much every minute of every waking day. It normally starts about noon. Can you imagine what it'll be like?

Alan Bleasdale, Sue Johnston and that fella who invented Brookside will be on television 24/7. Alexei Sayle, Cilla Black, Stan Boardman - all of them. Radio 5 and Talksport phone-ins will be deluged with irate Scousers going on with themselves. Tarbuck (left) and Hatton might even make comebacks.

And so, I'm launching the campaign to get Liverpool in next year's competition NOW. It's called "Save Our Summer".
