TESCO Save Money.BE SURE TO CALCULATE OR YOU LOSE

Hi All

Hope this HELPS all you TESCO SHOPPERS.

I hear all about TESCO Customers being Important.:T YEAH

Well that leaves a lot to be desired.

The following has been going on for a YEAR and maybe even longer.

THE GIANT SUPERMARKET WELL IT MAYBE BUT AT SOME CUSTOMERS EXPENSE.

SO HERE IT IS AND I WOULD LIKE ANY TESCO DIRECTOR TO CONTACT ME AND EXPLAIN WHY THE FOLLOWING IS HAPPENING IN THEIR STORES.
I HAVE PROOF TO BACK UP MY ALLEGATION.

When you are walking the isles looking for your good buys they call it.

BEWARE:

Items saying "Amazing Savings or other Fantastic Deals" .

Two of the same items together for £5.49

Yet the single price for the same item is £2.00

So get the calculaters out because in my day it is cheaper to buy 2 Single of the same and SAVE an Amazing £1.49

YES £1.49 Well done TESCO Very Good Marketing

This is just 1 Product so how many others??????????????

CLEVER THESE TESCO MARKETERS.

TESCO " EVERY LITTLE HELPS" I belive this Should mean "Every Little Helps TESCOS" could this be one of the reasons why they are the giants they are at our expense.

Appriciate your thoughts and comments on this subject.

  • Yet another Tesco rant posting...

    :D
  • To be honest this is hardly news.

Very often I've realised it is cheaper to buy say 4 individual items than buy a pack of 4 .
    ake

To be honest I ALWAYS check to see if multipacks do actually save me money before I buy them

Lots of commercial businesses rely on cutomers being 'lazy', its nothing new.

Look at car insurance, these companies don't reward loyalty - if you stay with the same company you lose out by paying high renewal pemiums, they rely on people who can't be arsed to swap companies and look for a good deal.

Its just the same here - I don't blindly believe it when I see a sign in a supermarket saying 'great deal'...thats what the supermarket wants me to think....check out pricing for yourself and then make an informed decision. If people just put stuff in their trolleys because they've been told by a multi million pound business that they should...then they are lazy & stooopid

Quite often, in my experience, I find its so the price of the most popular pack size can remain competitive.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

while shopping in Asda I have noticed a few signs saying things like
...75p each or 2 for £1.50 and one I saw today was 63p each or 2 for £1.50.I assumed they were errors.
I did check my receipts and the items I purchased did go through at 63p each and not 2 for £1.50.
