My friend found a tax rebate from HMRC she had forgotten about .
The problem is that the attached payment is dated 2015 and it says - if the document is presented within 6 months HMRC will pay - its not much but better in her pocket.
Is it possible to contact HMRC and ask for this to be re-issued or is this too late.

Having the paperwork seems to be important, a recent poster got a replacement rebate no problem.0 -

True but the one they had paperwork for, like the op in this thread has, was replaced so it seemed the most pertinent recent thread for the op.0

Also true, and as I said in that thread I got my cheque replaced because I had all the details, so the OP should be fine.0
