Mortgage Arrears Fees - Is it possible to reclaim

I had a mortgage with Santander. During a particularly stressful period in my life I was charged a succession of late payment fees at £40 a time totalling around £700. Are these reclaimable in any way now that I no longer have a mortgage with them ? If they are what would be best course of action?

No.
The regulator did take a look at these with some sub prime lenders but it had no issues with prime lenders.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
