Right, the current situation is that myself and my partner are selling up and looking to move in to a new house. We have currently got a buyer and found the house we want.
My partner has a good credit rating while myself does not, even though current debts just been paid up (£145) and I'm also in discussion with Nationwide over a debt of £220 on my old account which shouldn't of happened.
We are looking for a mortgage of £185,000 as after selling the house we will have a deposit of £50,000.
I earn £24,000 and my other half £28,000.
Will we have problems getting a mortgage in the current climate?
Many thanks.

YOu should still be able to find a mortgage, as the £50k is a good deposit to put down
Have you got up to date copies of your credit files from Equifax or Experian?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
