Hi My mortgage with the now long gone firm The Mortgage Corporation was paid off in 1992 but it seems the Land registry info was never updated.
Can anyone give me any pointers please.
Thanks

Do you mean they still have a charge registered? Why has it come up now? If you are now undertaking a transaction with the property then your solicitors should know how to sort this out (and it doesn't really need sorted out until then anyway). Won't be straightforward as the lender is now dissolved.0
