DW Fitness the 3 day guest pass that isn't

For anyone thinking of going to DW fitness and trying out there gym for 3 days think again!
I signed up to there free 3 days pass advertised on there website and also phoned my local DW fitness to confirm they had receive my 3 day pass request which they had and also asked the guy I spoke to to confirm it is a free 3 day pass which he said yes to.
So on Sunday I went down to the gym to try out some of the equipment. The gym didn't seem too busy as it was Sunday early afternoon so I decided to go there again on Monday at 6pm "peak time" to see how busy it can really get. I reminded the guy at the reception that I was there on the 3 day pass. He responded with "the 3 day pass is a 1 day pass".
Under the terms and conditions it states that the gym can change the pass at any time so anyone thinking of going to this gym on a 3 day pass think again.
Surely this is false advertising?

That does sound dodgy, although I have been a member at DW for just over a year now and haven't had any problems0
