BTW here's a warning for you. You may see or find schemes that purport to release your pension money early via some loopholes.
What you will find (and we've had posters here previously whining about the outcome), they are not loopholes but illegal, in a nutshell you end up getting less than half your money out (the scheme takes the lions share) then HMRC comes along and wants more than that half you've received in back taxes, end result being you lose it all and more, so please don't be tempted.0 -

If you dont have savings, get another full time job (contract or not) and save up a lump sum to fund a gap year.
Then take your time off to travel0
