Not winning- Long dry patch

Options
Nothing else, just moaning :) I haven't won anything for about a month- the last thing I won was a cheap toy for my daughter in the first week of January. December I won two tickets to the local theatre, but had to work, so gave them away, october I 'won' an e-book.
Can someone stop feeding the luck fairies cake and send them out to play with me?

A month is NOT a long dry patch! I very frequently go 2, 3, even up to about 8 months without a win! I last won something almost a month ago and I'm still counting that as a recent win :) There are so many people out there competing for the prizes these days that you have to expect the wins to dry up a little, and to go for longer periods without winning.

That must be so disheartening - I'm surprised you are still entering!

Just a small chocolate bar from Thornton's for me this year - my first win since November

A month without winning in the current comping climate is very good!
  • I restarted comping in September and won a couple of twitter competitions recently.

It is soul destroying going through all the emails and finding no winners.

I do love entering and I will continue to do so.
  • I gave up last April after getting really disheartened. The advents sucked me back in in December.

Won a pound on Quidco and a book on Goodreads but that's it.

If I add up all the comps I enter it's about 300 per day - I do nearly all the mag daily prize draws every day and I dip in and out of the C2Ws and the main board. How does this compare with others?

I'm just hoping that as I catch up with the Mag Dailies (i.e. as the long-standing ones close and are won by those who entered them every day) I might win some of the ones I have entered since they started. I may be just kidding myself.

I really want that Product of the Year bag :D

I think take a look at the type of comps and the prizes you are entering for. It sounds odd to enter less but win more but it all depends on what type of comps you are entering.

I must say, and it's probably not meant in that way, but your post comes across a bit as though you aren't happy with what you've won - a cheap toy, tickets to something you couldn't use and an ebook you didn't really want. So why waste energy entering for them?

Try looking for lower entry effort comps or if you just want to win anything and get a bit of a boost and a spur me on win go buy a pack of kit kats and enter for a Joe mug where the odds are more in your favour.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
