Take part of the filming of an episode of the Programme
There is one prize consisting of a day on the set of the filming of the Programme Series 3 for the prize winner and one companion. The prize winner only will also be able to take part in the filming of the Programme. During the filming, the prize winner and their companion will have the opportunity to meet the crew and production team of the Programme and will also be able to watch the filming of the Programme that day. ITV does not guarantee that the prize winner or their companion will have the opportunity to meet any of the cast of the Programme. The prize winner only, will also have the opportunity to appear as an extra on the episode of the Programme being filmed that day however there is no guarantee that the prize winner’s appearance will make the final broadcasted edit of the Programme. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize winner’s companion will not be given the opportunity to appear as an extra in the filming of the Programme.
It is estimated that the filming will occur between February and June 2019 and will run from 8am – 7pm. ITV shall contact the prize winner on the telephone number provided by the prize winner to confirm the date and time of the filming as well as additional information relevant to filming. The date of the filming shall be mutually agreed between the prize winner and Buccaneer Media Limited based on the prize winner’s availability and Buccaneer Media Limited’s production schedule.
During the filming, the prize winner and their nominated companion will be chaperoned by a member of the Programme production team. By entering this competition, you agree that you and your companion will comply with the terms of the following Code of Conduct. You and your companion:
will behave in a reasonable and sensible fashion at all times whilst on the set / location;
will not explore any location attended during the tour without being escorted by one of production team;
will not remove any objects from the set or vandalise or damage any location visited during the visit;
will not take any photographs during the visit for any purposes unless otherwise approved on the day by a representative of Buccaneer Media Limited or ITV;
will adhere to any other directions given by ITV and/or Buccaneer Media Limited on the day of the filming;
acknowledge that access to certain parts of the Programme set will be subject to availability;
acknowledge that you and your companion may be required to sign a separate code of conduct provided by Buccaneer Media Limited whilst on the set visit; and
expressly understand and acknowledge that ITV and/or Buccaneer Media Limited shall have the right to expel them from the set if ITV and/or Buccaneer Media Limited considers, in its sole discretion, that they have breached this Code of Conduct.
In the event that the Programme is not recommissioned for a third series, the prize winner shall be offered the same prize offering for another ITV Mystery Drama as determined by ITV in its sole discretion. Should the prize winner opt not to attend the alternative filming offered by ITV, the prize winner shall be deemed to have forfeited that part of the prize.
The prize also includes four-star hotel accommodation for the prize winner and their companion for the night before the filming and the night of the filming at a hotel within 15 miles of the filming location of the Programme, which includes:
· bed and breakfast based on two people sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability, the winner can choose which room type); and
· dinner on both evenings up to the value of £75 per person per meal to cover food, drinks and any service charge.
Please note that the prize winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
The prize also includes the following transportation:
· return private transportation between the prize winner’s home address and either the departure station or airport;
· either: (i) standard return rail travel from a UK mainland station near to the winner’s home address to a UK mainland station near to the filming of the Programme; or (ii) if the prize winner is a resident of the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scotland or Northern Ireland, return economy flights from an airport near to the prize winner’s home address to an airport near to the filming of the Programme;
· return private transportation between the train station or airport near the Programme filming location and the hotel; and
· return private transportation between the Programme filming location and the hotel.
The location of the hotel and the transportation detailed above will be confirmed by Element London Limited (the transport and accommodation prize provider) in their sole discretion via a telephone call to the prize winner once the date of the filming has been agreed between the prize winner and Buccaneer Media Limited and the location of the filming is known.
It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere
There are ten (10) runner-up prizes, each consisting of a Series 2 DVD box set of the Programme which will be sent to the runners-up at the address provided by the relevant runner-up within 28 days of the competition closing. A signature may be required upon delivery.
