Which Mortgage Advisors

Options
Hi, looking to make a mortgage application via Which Mortgage Advisers. They have a referral scheme whereby the referrer and the applicant get £100 in John Lewis vouchers. The referrer must have used their services for a mortgage.

If you can help, please PM me.

Thanks, Mark

... or pick an independent broker with a lower fee?

£100-£250 is the going rate in our area.

I am less fussed about the cost. I would avoid direct based mortgage brokers working on a factory line style unless your case is very very straightforward. If you have any hint of potential issues, the local broker should be able to wipe the floor with a factory line service who is targetted to do x number of calls and move straight on to the next person.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

That's double what we charge and if you buy through one of our builders, we charge nothing.

The dangers of a Broker paying £200 to acquire a Client who is focused on JL Vouchers rather than the service/result.
