so my fixxed rate ends 31/05, i have just rang my current provider to find out how much i will owe on this date ready for the remortgage as it says in the remortgage guide. I was told by my bank they can't give me a figure that far in advance and i could ring on the 1st may to ask but it would still only be a rough figure, is this normal?
Also when she told me how much i owe at the moment, it was slightly more( about £400) then what my internet banking says. and she said this is cause it is not 'real time' its just rough.

How do I know what figure to ask to borrow to remortgage then? In Martin Lewis remortgage guide it says to ask so you don't guess and end up not borrowing enough. I assumed they would be able to work it out by repayments you have until that day less the interest, which is how il have to try figure it out.0

You don't need an exact figure for the application (pretty much impossible 3 months in advance), just an estimate will do.0

If there's money left over, you can just pay it back to the account within your penalty-free overpayment facility, so don't fret.I am a mortgage broker.
