Lowell Vodafone debt which I dont know about

Susie thanks for your reply, I have just tried submitting the Fraud form on Action Fraud website but after taking basic details it is asking me to report directly to the phone company (Vodafone). I will writing a complaint on the link provided by fatbelly above.

Thanks fatbelly for pointing me in the right direction for Vodafone complain dept. They called me today have understood my case. Their corporate team will investigate and come back to me.

Make sure you speak to The collectors and report it. They are debt purchasing not collection and having them know they can push the case straight back to them. Gets the ball rolling quickly for you to get it resolved

I got a response from Vodafone (Lee) that their Security team has completed their investigation and confirmed that I have been the victim of ID fraud.
Thank you all and Lee for resolving the issue. Hopefully Lowell will remove the default entry from my credit file. They shouldn't have done this in the first instance until it is proven that who owes this debt.

It seems I have also been a 'victim' of this vodaphone debt scam.
I have never had a vodaphone contract or entered into any agreement during my lifetime at my current address or ones previously.
Thanks to the previous entries in this forum at least I have a place to start.

Hi I’m now going to court to fight Lowell solicitors./ debt collectors. They have said I owe money for a Vodafone account but when I checked, Vodafone says it’s a pay as you go account. But trying to get more information from Vodafone. Is really hard as the account is from 10yrs ago and They are finding it difficult to get anymore information. Can anyone help please. That’s in advance.

You could send Vodafone a SAR to see what infor there is left, have you already sent the prove it letter?
