HSBC nightmare mortgages

HI all,
Having a nightmare. Desperate to get my mortgage. Applied 19th January with HSBC. Still waiitng for final approval. Every time I ring up they tell me that there is another document they need. FInally all sorted now-but only because I have chased them. It seems to be an Indian call centre and each person has a different story. Still waiting to hear. Each time they tell me to ring up in 24-48 hours.
I cannot wait any longer for them .I have to get a mortgage sorted. Could lose the sale. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone advise what I should do....are there any reportedly quick mortgage people? I am after 5/10 year fixed. No complications. 19% LTV

Applications can take time to process. As individual circumstances differ. Likewise lender differ as well. As will have their own internal policy criteria.
Little point on switching now. As you are well into the process.0 -
