Journalist photographer for N Ireland wedding?

Hi

I once saw wedding photos in Washington that were all taken by an actual newspaper photojournalist (he worked for Washington Post I think and was a friend of the groom).

Does anyone here know of someone in Northern Ireland like this? Someone who works for a newspaper or magazine?

  • But what difference does it make? There are plenty of wedding photographers out there, documentary style is very popular now and you'll find no shortage of good people who can help.

I shoot weddings myself - and really cant see why you;d want a photojournalist.

No such thing as a photojournalist these days, all staff photographers were laid off by local newspapers years ago unfortunately. Papers get their picture from journalists with compact cameras now or else freelancers for a very paltry sum :(

As Stephenni above has said plenty of very good local photographers do 'Reportage' albums and discs for weddings these days a quick google or visit to a wedding fair will provide you with info on local ones :T
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Yes, plenty of amazing wedding photographers around. Stay away from Ciaran O'Neill whatever you do, I know someone who had bad experiences there and would not rate his work.
