Mortgage after Bankruptcy

Hello,
We were discharged 2.5 years ago and have managed to save a £50,000 deposit. Would we be able to secure a mortgage now or is it best to wait another year.
Would it be advisable to use a broker too when we do!
Thanks.

There will be a couple of lenders open to you now, but you can only access them through a broker.
If you hold fire until 3 years discharged, you will have a couple of more options open to you and rates will be a little better.
Edit: Just to add, most lenders would need you to have been discharged for 6 years.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
