Argos reciepts.

My brother in law is 75 years old and bought a phone from ARGOS with cash he has lost his receipt and password and now can not get into his expensive phone. Argos say they can not give him another receipt. Is there any way he can get his iPhone 6S to work please.

    Roughly when did he buy the phone ?
    Does he not have proof of purchase from a Credit card / Debit card receipt ?
    Don't tell me - he paid cash for it ?
    They will accept alternative proof
