Help with Business Truck...

Hi All,

Have posted a few topics on here with reference to business vehicle finance etc but want some advice on this one.

I had a vehicle on finance with VW which my Dad has very kindly taken over so I'm paying him the monthly instalments not the VW finance direct. VW purchased the truck back off me and then re sold it to my Dad issuing an invoice to him and he is now the NEW owner. I am the registered keeper hence the trucks registration is in my name but NOT the owner. The insurance is in my name too. My dad is concerned that the OR can take the truck back which I'm 100% positive they can't as we have a letter from the OR saying so.
In any case as I'm now not the owner just the registered keeper am I right in saying the truck is not mine.

The registered keeper is NOT the owner. Who ever bought the vehicle and has the receipt is the owner

The OR will get interested if there was any financial equity in the vehicle at the time of your Bankruptcy as that should have been available for your creditors after the Finance was paid off
