homemade cheap decorations pics!

  • Heres a pic of the advent calenders i made the kiddies, the picture doesnt do them justice but they have 24 little red felt pockets divided onto 4 lge green felt christmas trees and all sewn together using red wool with blanket stitch took about 1-2 hours each and cost 6 pound for the 3.

  • heres another festive decoration but for the tree this time and they look and taste so much better than the cheap kiddies chocolates. i've used lindt truffles but you could make you own and wrap them in cellophane and then hang them.

  • heres another homemade decoration that i think looks great and is really simple, it costs about 10p to make and i've added a little pocket in order to pop a little sweet in the front.

    We wrap fun size smarties and rolos then put them on our tree. They look like mini crackers and presents. The children loved them when they were little and today my 22yr old asked if we could do it still ofcourse I said yes. They make a nice little treat when children come during the holidays.
