First Mortgage aged 49 ex Bankruptcy Help Needed

Options
Hi Folks,
almost 13 years ago I went Bankrupt and was in a bad way.
I have been building up my credit history and a couple of years ago started a Help To Buy ISA which I now have £6.5k in.
I have a few other debts like a Credit card(0% 5k to pay) and a car loan (for my son still owing £6200 over next 16 months)
I'm coming towards my divorce being finalised so I'm looking to buy a house and have an API of £84k but my worry is that the bank will deny me the mortgage due to past financial history.
My credit rating is really good and I haven't missed any payments in my new life and have a 20k credit limit on my main credit card that I pay off in full monthly.
What are my chances and where is best for me to get a mortgage?
The estate agent wants me to go in tomorrow and discuss my mortgage options with them but I don't know if this is the right thing to do as don't want to apply for a mortgage that I'm likely to get turned down for.
P.S. I'm 50 in April so need to get the ball rolling as I only have 20 years left of employment.
Also do I have to wait until my divorce is final before I apply legally?
All advice greatly appreciated.
