Lego Minstorms NXT Robot -£135+ get £10 Argos voucher back - great price!

My son wanted this for Christmas last year, but prices then were around the £200 mark and I also thought he was a little young.

The price I have found is actually in Argos for £134.94 (was £179.93), but you get a £10 Argos voucher for spending over £100 from 17-30th October - to spend on your next purchase, making the value of the first purchase a possibly unbeatable £125 ish.

Also £134.94 in Amazon at the moment.

It was rated the best 'mid-priced' robot by The Gadget Show recently:

I have it reserved in Argos at the moment - unless anyone else has seen it cheaper before tomorrow

I think, in order to use the £10 voucher on this, you would have to buy it (to obtain the voucher) take it back under 16 day money back, then buy it again using the voucher. I don't know if they take the voucher back if you get refund though?

I am pretty sure that the £10 voucher is for the next purchase, and cannot be used at the time of spending the £100

    if that makes sense?!

could you buy £100 gift voucher and get a £10 voucher. Then use both to buy mindstorms, hopefully ending up with another |£10 voucher for another item.

Yes - this is exactly how I understand it too. Sorry for the confusion, I did not mean to imply that you could get £10 off the price that you pay, but simply by receiving a £10 voucher to use towards somthing else, you would effectively have only paid the equivalent value of £125 - assuming that there is something you would have put the £10 toward in Argos anyway (and there always is at this time of year) - that is just how my mind works!

I have now editied my original post to make this clearer - I hope!

P.S. - lots of good discounts on other Lego sets at Argos too.
