Hi, I had read an article about this bloke who earns a living charging people a yearly membership and directing them to flights, hotels, travel, full holidays for cheaper than you can find on websites.
I researched it and found the same kind of methods work so I was wondering would it be of interest if I started this up myself?
I was looking into a holiday for my family(2 adults 2 kids) found "the best cheapest comparison site" and the holiday came to £1666 I found the same one for £1260. So £400 cheaper!
Would this be of interest do you think to possibly start up a business??
Thanks

So you're a sort of online Agent to arrange Travel...?
Yes, I believe people have started Travel Agent businesses....a chap called Thomas Cook started one the 1850's for example. He seems to have done ok out of it.0 -
I would have thought the margins with something like this must be extremely tight.0

Travel agents book the stuff through their business and sell it on to you. I presume all the OP wants to offer is a service where they direct people to places they can book it cheaper for themselves.
How many people need this often enough that they would pay a yearly membership? Especially given that you offer no guarantees - they might get nothing for their money.
What percentage of the time do you think you could find it cheaper than the comparison sites?0 -
Also, is your £400 cheaper a like for like comparison...or is it based booking the parts separately, from the original providers with no protection, rather than booking an ATOL protected package?0

People so often forget, that there is more to booking a holiday and jetting off somewhere nice.
ATOL and all the relevant business insurances are essential.0
