Dried up corn on the cob?

We've got several corn on the cob from our garden which we forgot to harvest, now they've all dried up. I thought they were useless but hubby is determined not to waste them.
Is there any way we can use them or is it a complete waste of time?
All ideas gratefully received because I'm all for chucking them!

Save them for seed for next year?
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

They'll have turned starchy and will be inedible.
You can save the seed only if they're a regular variety (not F1 hybrid). Not worth it IMO.
Leave them out for the birds, then compost what's left.

Ooh, that's a point I hadn't thought of. That still leaves 8 to go though. I wondered (very stupidly) what pop corn is made from? Or is it something completely different?New year, no debt! Debt free date - 02/01/07 :j :j :j

They're not F1 so should be able to save. So I can tell hubby I can get rid of them and re-claim the veggy rack? :jNew year, no debt! Debt free date - 02/01/07 :j :j :j
