Charles Stanley Direct Duplication Of Funds

Last week I sold some vanguard funds to reduce my holdings from 8 funds to 4 for simplicity. I used the sell all option when dealing. These deals have settled today but one did not go through in its entirety and only resulted in a partial sale.
Long story short CSD have changed how they hold some Vanguard funds and due to an IT error my deal only sold the units I had purchased pre September 2017 and did not sell the rest. Might be useful knowledge for others that might have the same problem in the future.
Credit to CSD, they apologised for the error and have sold the remaining units over the phone and once the deal goes through they will credit the difference in the fund price to my portfolio as a cash refund.
I've reached a point where I was considering leaving for iWeb due to the size of my portfolio but the customer service was very good in this instance and the first time I've dealt with them on the phone and the adviser was very knowledgeable and efficient.
