Hello! This is my first post after joining yesterday!
I read the article above, and while I haven't tried everything there, I tried the shopping tips, like dropping a brand in the supermarket.
I shop at Tesco, and after following Martin's tips to drop a brand, I thought I would.
It saved me £40 on a weekly shop - I was very impressed! I didn't have any less food, and the items I bought that I've eaten yet have been of good quality - I couldn't tell the difference.
Personally, I found it hard to bring myself to buy Tesco make pasta, for example, instead of a brand name, because it looks different.
But once I got over the fact that the only the packaging is different, then I could save myself more money!
Just a tip for you - it's about perception.
Good luck saving, guys - enjoy your pay rise!0
