Just £10 debt reduction (surveys) since the last post, but at least £370 pending from invoices, and doing well on the decluttering front.
The house repairs got done a bit earlier than planned, and as a result of that I've been back into the attic. It still contains a fair bit of random cr*p; at lunchtime today I unearthed a hideous piece of old carpet that's gone straight in the bin, some more boxes for things that have broken or been sold since the last sort out, and some old poster frames that will be sold on Marketplace as they're not a size we use any more. It really feels like we're shifting gears at the moment, and looking past the debt repayments to new ventures.

On Friday I'll be another £90 closer to target
I have cash from marketplace sales yesterday; I'm keeping that for the next grocery shop rather than going to the post office to pay it in to avoid making a non-essential trip, so I'll do a transfer from the grocery fund on payday. .

Thanks @lucielle
I paid off the £90 today. December's scheduled payments will be updated tomorrow, and everything's nicely on track for the end of year target. With a couple of small payments pending I will only have £85 left to find this month, so just need one more invoice to be settled to be home and dry! The end of year figures are going to be worth a small celebration...

End of November and under £10k! 80% now paid.
Even better than that - if I find another £12.50 down the back of the sofa this month, we'll have cleared £14k of debt in one year. This year has been a hard slog, but the results speak for themselves. Now let's see how much more I can chip away before we get to 2021...Debt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 241 -

It'll probably be October. Can't allocate more than 1k a month to standard payments as that's the absolute limit of what we can do on a single wage - it may creep forward if sales/side hustle can continue to drip feed into it but I'm not counting on it. It's already been dragged forward from March 2023, which was what we initially calculated four years ago.Debt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 240

Got to admit things are not going quite so well at the moment. Overpayments have now stalled as the remaining EF (still massively depleted from recent repairs) has been more or less obliterated by a bunch of (ongoing) plumbing issues beyond our skill level to resolve. Still, we did reach our end of year target, so despite the doom and gloom scenario currently playing out in my head, things are not currently unmanageable. I really, REALLY do not want to be in a position to have to put a penny more on credit, and truth be told I've got extremely anxious about it. Logically I know I'm overreacting but logic and emotion are not playing nicely together just yet! Hopefully we'll know exactly where we stand within the next day or two.Debt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 240
