Solar panel discolouration.

I'm after some advice on a solar panel I have just bought from ebay. It has various degrees of discolouration and I'm wondering if this is likely to cause a problem. I don't want to return the panel for no reason.

The panel is identical to another that I bought from the same seller several months ago. That panel had no discolourations and has been installed and working well for several months powering an off grid static caravan.

I'd get the panel checked to see if the rated output has dropped. Then it will depend on how much you paid for the panel as to whether it is value or not depending on how old it is as they will produce a bit less over time.

Thanks for the response. The panel is supposed to be brand new and unused, although it doesn't look it.
