    You say the £100 was 1 day. you are giving up £200 that goes even further renting.

    As mentioned above - the 3 days are better used for the big move than extra cash

    You can only try and ask. Im fairly confident there will be nothing saying they have to let you have those 3 days as such i would be expecting to work them and id arrange the move for after finishing with them.

    What your facing is, at least from my point of view, common practice.

    Offer to give up a weeks notice pay and leave a week early.

    Or ask your new employer if you can start a week later so you have time to move.
