Could I get sacked?

I could over a case from an experienced member. It is to do with correspondence. There was no letter of authority. I received a reply from a senior that was sent to them by the other team member. I then sent it to the solicitor. This solicitor also received information from another member of my team.

I take it communication doesn't feature strongly in your role.

If I read right, you have received a copy of an email between two work people that was sent to you in confidence or accidentally. You have then forwarded it to a person outside the company without authority. Ooops!
  • This is really difficult to understand. If you've done something wrong then they can fire you based on that but if you have more than 2 years tenure and feel you have a case to present to an employment tribunal then you can take them to a tribunal.

It would be really helpful if you tried rewriting what has happened so we can understand.
