Could I get sacked?

I could over a case from an experienced member. It is to do with correspondence. There was no letter of authority. I received a reply from a senior that was sent to them by the other team member. I then sent it to the solicitor. This solicitor also received information from another member of my team.

If I read right, you have received a copy of an email between two work people that was sent to you in confidence or accidentally. You have then forwarded it to a person outside the company without authority. Ooops!

This is really difficult to understand. If you've done something wrong then they can fire you based on that but if you have more than 2 years tenure and feel you have a case to present to an employment tribunal then you can take them to a tribunal.

It would be really helpful if you tried rewriting what has happened so we can understand.
