DFS / Currys

Options
Hi all,

I am going to buy a few pieces of furniture and electrical's next week.

A few years ago, I saw Martin on one of his TV shows saying you "haggle" or ask for something extra if you are making multi purchases. Does anyone have any experience of this? What exactly do you say? What if I ask for a discount or a small free item and they say no? Do I call their bluff and say "well I have been offered a discount at xxx store"? Any advice or tips?

I am looking to spend about £1500 at DFS and will be buying a cooker, a fridge freezer and a laptop at Curry's.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to help.
