Hello all I've been reading all your posts for a while now but haven't dared to post one myself yet.
I registered on the insolvency website today and just sat and stared blankly at the screen for ages.
I'm sending off for a copy of my credit file help with the creditors as I feel lost off.
The bit I'm most confused about is my outgoings. When I sit down and think of what to put in it I'm lost off. What do I need to include? Also my partner has gone back to university this september so I pay for most of her things as she gets a student loan and has just started a part time job. We are both planning to go bankrupt.
I have moved out of my mortgaged property as the constant phone calls and knocks at the door were getting too much and I am now renting a property but I'm not even sure if my mortgaged house has been repossed or not. i need to face up to it and go back but I'm nervous about doing so. Somehow one of my creditors has now found out my new address so I need to get my skates on.
How will I work out my income also as I work on commission? i'm not sure how many months to base it one as my wage can vary by hundreds of pounds every month. I always make at least £1200 per month but it can be a lot more than this and if for any reason I didn't hit my target I would only get about £900.
So confused!
Thanks for listening to my rambling.

Hi and welcome to the boards.
I have to nip off now but just thought I would say hello and let you know someone will bound to be along soon to answer your questions.
Have you spoken to any of the debt charities in my siggy yet. You will need to do this as the judge will ask if you have taken professional advice so doing it sooner rather than later is a good idea. There is no need to worry about talking to them they are all brilliant and non judgemental and easy to talk to.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Have you sought out financial advice? If not, please ring either the CCCS, or Payplan or the National Debtline because the judge is likely not to agree to the bankruptcy unless you have:
http://www.cccs.co.uk/
http://www.payplan.com/
http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/
Either of these will be able to answer any questions you have and offer guidance in the right direction.
Just a note too, if your girlfriend is going BR too, remember that student debts are NOT covered by Bankruptcy.0 -
Thank you for your replies. I have talked to national debtline in the past and I think its them I will call again to update them on my situation. I'm wanting to go back to university myself but I don't know if this will be seen as wreckless since I'm currently in full time employment.0
