First post, we are planning an extension so that a parent can move in. We will fund this with the sale of the parents house. The parent cannot move in until the extension is complete, what are the options to bridge the build and this time frame?

It may not be ideal but sell up and rent until the extension is built is one option if a loan is not forthcoming.
