Annoying Calls from 08708503492

I have been hounded with these calls for the last 2 weeks. Calls from 8.30am to 8.45pm they wake the kids up most nights!! They tell me they are the Bank, British Gas, Intelligent Finance, AA Finance or Halifax. I have finally stopped them (I Hope), I called 0870 8501291 (Halifax) and asked them to remove my number from their systems which they did, I said they should write in future. Try it:j

Oh Gawd, I recognise that number. The Halifax used to call me all the time from it - apparently their automated dialler is set to keep ringing a number where they don't get a response until they do eventually speak to someone, hence their 20 or so attempted calls a day for me at it's worst point. Thank goodness I'm no longer out of work, looking after a sick relative or waiting to hear back on my (useless) PPI claim with them for the time I was out of work.
