TESCO - Coupon on SS Milk for Dried Cranberries worth 49p

Couldn't see this posted yet redface.gif. Just noticed on my Tesco Semi Skimmed milk purchased today (4pts for £1.34), there's a Tesco coupon printed on the inside of the label for 'FREE Dried Cranberries 40g pack worth 49p'.

Barcode starts with 99 but coupon does have TESCO on it, will try it out tomorrow. HTH someone.

coupon also on 4pint skimmed milk. Its for ocean spray, I got a packet of cranberries and raisins and they are delicious. Dont therefore know if it scans without the product.
  • This coupon does NOT scan without buying the product! Found out this morning as I forgot to add the cranberries to my shopping. But now I have two of the coupons as it was on today's milk as well :D . Plus the coupons are valid until 31/12, so no rush.

hypothetically, would it be possible to take a voucher of the milk without buying it...and use it on the cranberries, so they would be free and no purchase needed?
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
  • Hypothetically I suppose it is possible but I would not recommend it!! It is the actual label from the milk container you need, and part of it is the coupon, printed on the inside. If you get caught taken a label off in the store without buying the milk I don't think Mr T would be very happy, as you would be leaving the milk label-less and without a best before date etc.

We go through loads of milk every day, well 4pts at least, so buy the stuff anyway.

thanks for that, i was thinking of the sugar coupon that was inside the (sealed) lid so could easily 'fall' into the trolley, i'll not be stripping any udders in store!

I wouldnt advertise that you have been taking coupons out of products without purchasing them - not something I would be proud of. Really annoys me if I buy something and someone has been along and thiefed the coupon. Please don't do this in future!

There is never a need to be so offensive, calling people theifs is out of order.
I never said i took coupons out of products without buying, but there were posts on here advising it, and lots of people said thanks to that poster. However i'm sure if your moneysaving is as good as your moralising you would know that alread.
