I have agreement with nationwide, on the AIP it asked for latest mortgage to be sent in with full app. I thought they would ask for bank statements etc.
When I phoned the advisor said these days they don't always ask for many documents?

Now a days there are ways to check bank statements without actually seeing them (to some degree), even if you do not bank with the company, same with income. I remember a few years go Barclays wanted 26 payslips (paid weekly) I sent 25 by mistake. They called me and asked me to send another and asked me to confirm the amount on there. I read out the pounds and they told me the pence! They knew what was on the latest payslip to the penny without ever seeing it or any bank statements.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
