Hi All,
I am looking for some wooden flooring and Homebase has been flagged as a possibility. I need 8m x 4m, however is haggling allowed within the store of if the items are priced at £10 per metre is this what I'll have to pay?

You're welcome to try & haggle in any shop as the price which is on the shelf is an invitation to treat & only when you pay are you accepting that invitation.
Whether the manger wishes to accept your counter offer is anyone's guess but I would say you have more chance of haggling at an independent shop.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

For what's it's worth I called in over the weekend. The sales assistant got my details wrong twice and twice gave me the wrong price - no negotiating allowed.0
