London Norwich cheap travel

Hi, just wondered if anyone had any advice on travel options to Norwich?

I know Megabus go frequently and they're probably the cheapest option but I was wondering if there are train deals. From National Rail I see it's possible to get £10 e/w if the tickets is booked in advance but then you're tied to exact times. I seem to remember East Coast deals being available but can't seem to find any currently. Thx.

:)

  • Splitting the ticket at Maningtree might save something, otherwise it may well be booked trains only.

I think the cheapest fare without being tied to specific trains is £55 off peak return.

The "best fare finder" includes the London-Norwich route and will help you find the best cheap deals for specific times.

Megabus (and National Express) will also most likely tie you to a particular service - and they aren't anything like as frequent as the train (and take up to an hour+ longer each way)

Yup, £55 for the off peak return. If you're coming back the same day you can buy a Super Off-peak day return London-Manningtree plus Off-peak day return Manningtree-Norwich (i.e. splitting at Manningtree), for £51.50

There's an offer on greateranglia website for £20 day return Nor - Liv St.

Book by 16 feb, travel up to 14 April.

If you want to go & back on different days, maybe buy 2 of these offers
